Collage was started in 1967 by some high school friends. They started by playing at local clubs, shore clubs, and affairs. They developed into an eight piece horn group, and soon became one of the most sought after bands in the tri-state area. They were also the opening band for numerous big name bands. After playing many successful years together, they began going in different directions. Some to raise families, some going into different music fields, and some to pursue solo careers. The members of the band eventually parted ways and this was the end of the band...or so it seemed. As fate would have it, a local promoter was getting a benefit together and was seeking bands of the past. After nearly 25 years, Collage was brought back together again. After having such a great time playing again, the guys decided to have some fun playing again. After locking themselves in the basement for over a year to rehearse, they began to play the circuit again to overwheming raves and reviews.
